She has published research in the fields of occupational health, first responder health, reproductive health, and prenatal exercise training. She has worked in a health capacity for large companies including Apple and lululemon, and has consulted for multiple fire and police departments.

As for her personal sporting and competition background, Dr. Kehler has been a jack of all trades. Ainslie describes her athletic ability as “ok at everything, excelling at nothing”. After failing to make the cut in collegiate soccer, she found her calling in individual sports. She was named to the Junior National team for triathlon, then went on to participate in 3 Ironman triathlons. She has run races ranging from 5 km to 50 km. After retiring from endurance sports, Dr. Kehler took up the fun and challenging world of functional fitness, and competed 5 straight years as an individual in the CrossFit Games Regionals. During her undergrad, Dr. Kehler was a forestry firefighter for the BC Ministry of Forests. She is also a trained firefighter and holds the NFPA 1001 Level I and Level II seals.

She is a proud Momma to son Matty, wifey to Nick, and dog mom to Rudy. She has an affinity for the North Shore trails, new kicks, ice cream, and the occasional curse word.
